TAYLOR BLOXHAM INVESTS IN KBA RAPIDA 106
Taylor Bloxham has moved to increase its print capacity by investing in a Rapida 106 from KBA, a press capable of printing at speeds of 18,000sph.
The Rapida will replace two traditional Heidelberg presses at the company, marking the latest in a series of investments that Taylor Bloxham has made in new print technology as its seeks to bolster its service offering.
The six-colour plus coater press will be installed in April 2018. Taylor Bloxham specialises in litho, ultra HD print, digital print, large-format and print finishing, and is widely regarded as one of the largest print companies in the UK.
Robert Lockwood, chief executive of Taylor Bloxham, comments: “Dealing with high volumes, sometimes at short notice, doesn’t mean that we have to sacrifice quality.
“By investing in the latest print technologies we can ensure a quick turnaround with a superior finish. We’re looking forward to seeing the benefits that the Rapida 106 will pass on to our clients.”
